GOD CAN CHANGE YOUR STORY FROM UGLY SITUATION TO BEAUTIFUL SITUATION - Read and Pray Through

Text: John 2:1-11

Once again, I want to remind us that when Jesus steps into any ugly situation, He changes it to a beautiful situation. But He must be invited into that situation before He can change it.

Jesus is the Unchangeable Changer. When we call Him the Unchangeable Changer, we mean that He remains the same. The same God who has done it before can still do it again. He never changes. There is nothing too hard or too big for Him to do.

When God steps into any situation, it means your prayers have been answered. Everything will begin to work for your good, which means there will be an agreement between the forces of nature and the Word of God concerning your life.

From the Bible passage above, before Jesus stepped into the situation, there was a kind of sorrow – when you cannot meet up as required, you will be sorrowful. There was also stress or discomfort, a load that cannot be carried (remember Matthew 11:28, Jesus is our burden bearer, our burden lifter). There was a lack. There was an emptiness. There was shame – when you cannot live up to your standard, you will be filled with shame. There was also a kind of defeat before Jesus stepped into the situation.

But when Jesus stepped in, He changed their sorrow to joy. He turned their stress/discomfort into relief. He turned their lack into abundance. He changed their emptiness into fullness – because He brought quality into the occasion, quality is better than quantity. He also changed their shame to glory. And finally, He changed their defeat to victory.

Today, you will need to call on this Unchangeable Changer to change your ugly situation to a better situation.

PRAYER:

1. Thank God for being the God that is ever present in times of need.

2. Surrender all to Him – Matthew 11:28. Say: Father, I surrender all my worries/burden to you, because you are the Unchangeable Changer. I cannot help myself, please be merciful unto me.

3. Father, in your mercy, change my sorrow to joy – spiritually, emotionally, maritally, financially, etc in Jesus mighty name.

4. Father, change my stress/discomfort to relief/comfort, because you are my burden bearer – Matthew 11:28.

5. Father, you are the God of abundance, please change my lack to abundance, in Jesus mighty name. Any area of my life that I’m lacking, spiritually, financially, etc, please turn it to abundance.

6. My Father, my God, please change my emptiness to fullness, in the name of Jesus.

7. Lord Jesus, in your mercy, please turn my shame to glory. Anything that is bringing shame into my life, please destroy it and turn my shame to glory. In Jesus mighty name.

8. My Father, my Fighter, by your power, come and change my defeat to victory, in Jesus mighty name.

9. Father, because I have surrendered all to you, let there be an agreement between your word and my life. Cause everything to work  for my good. In the name of Jesus.

10. My Father, my Fighter, every agreement of the enemy, that does not agree with your agreement concerning my life, I disagree with them, in Jesus mighty name. AMEN.

11. Remember to thank God for answered prayers.
